An antique Victorian-era Bristol glass or semi-opaque clambroth glass barber bottle dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century (circa 1880-1905).
Essential History & Identification
The elegant cursive text reads "Bay Rum," which was a highly popular aftershave lotion, cologne, and hair tonic during the Victorian era.
It features a classic tapered long neck designed for a firm grip and easy shaking. The pastel pink base color is accented with delicate hand-painted enameled floral motifs and an artistic bird perched near a banner.
It is topped with its original metal sprinkler shaker spout.
