Measuring 2" tall by 2 1/2" long by 2" wide, this exquisite oval box features a marbled cobalt and purple body decorated with gilded scrollwork.

The lid is crowned with a hand-painted brindle French Bulldog seated beside a pale blue, gold-trimmed tufted pillow surmounted by a brass twisted-rope ring holder. Fitted with an ornate repoussé brass bezel and bow clasp, the box opens to reveal a delicate hand-painted blue ribbon bow on the interior porcelain floor.

The underside is stamped with the official green "ROCHARD Limoges Original" hallmark and hand-signed "Limoges France Peint Main c.L".

In pristine vintage condition with a tight, secure snap closure and zero chips, cracks, or wear, it makes a luxurious accent for a vanity, dressing table, or fine canine art collection. See less
