An exceptional authentic French porcelain hinged trinket box produced in Limoges, France, by the renowned luxury house Rochard, circa late 20th century.
Measuring 2 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" long by 2" wide, this exquisite collectible is sculpted in the form of a classic emerald green Adirondack garden chair.
A charming hand-painted grey tabby cat climbs the side of the chair arm, peering at a potted terracotta planter filled with pink roses and a miniature painted watering can perched on the opposite arm.
Fitted with an ornate repoussé brass bezel and a figural flower blossom clasp, the box opens smoothly to reveal a hand-painted floral bouquet on the pristine interior floor.
The underside is stamped with the green "ROCHARD Limoges Original" hallmark and hand-signed "Limoges France Peint Main".
In immaculate vintage condition with zero chips, cracks, petal losses, or restorations and a tight, secure snap closure, it makes an enchanting statement for a vanity, curated shelf, or luxury porcelain collection.
