This armchair has been on a journey, it has been stripped back to the frame and fully restored with all the original internals, it has been upholstered with original vintage Regency Stripe upholstery fabric which is as rare as hen's teeth. Wingback armchairs by Howard almost never come up for sale, this is a mid Victorian piece, the frame is solid walnut and the inside left back leg is stamped with the Howard serial number and Howard & Sons Berners street Howard & Son’s are are the finest sofa and armchair makers in history, the Queen even has a private collection Dimensions Height:- 116.5cm Width:- 80.5cm Depth:- 83.5cm Seat height:- 49.5cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
