Exquisite vintage porcelain trinket box by Andrea by Sadek, crafted in the tradition of classic Limoges-style hinged boxes. The hinged oval box features a sculptural frog perched on the lid, decorated in rich cobalt blue, red, and gilt patterns reminiscent of Royal Crown Derby’s iconic Old Imari designs. Floral and geometric decoration continues around the base, finished with gold-tone metal trim and a decorative clasp. Marked Andrea by Sadek, Made in Japan on the underside with pattern/style number 8430. A wonderful little accent for a vanity, bookshelf, or collected display of Imari and animal-form pieces.
