Crafted in solid pau marfim wood and newly upholstered in Nuvolari velvet by Dedar in a nuanced olive-green tone, the chair embodies the warmth and structural intelligence that distinguish Brazilian modernism of the 1950s.

The design is defined by its exposed architectural frame. Slender splayed legs, sharply angled supports, and long horizontal armrests create a dynamic profile in which structure becomes ornament. Diagonal members articulate the sides of the chair with remarkable economy, giving the frame a light, almost graphic quality while providing a strong and carefully balanced foundation for the generously upholstered seat and back.

The pau marfim has a naturally luminous character, with warm golden-honey tones and a subtle grain that complements the chair’s restrained construction. The wood has been sensitively refinished with a satin-matte surface, preserving its visual depth while allowing the craftsmanship and angular geometry of the frame to remain prominent.
