An exceptional, highly coveted 8-piece vintage service for 4 in the iconic mid-century "Palm" pattern (frequently hunted by collectors as "Banana Leaf" or "Shadow leaf"). This heavy-duty, vitrified ironstone restaurant ware was manufactured by the famous Technical Porcelain and Chinaware Company (TEPCO) in El Cerrito, California, between the 1930s and 1960s. Each piece bears the stamped authentic "TEPCO USA CHINA" mark on the underside. This robust, highly collectible set is an incredibly rare find due to including the massive, extra-large 14-inch master serving platters alongside the classic rounded diner coffee mugs.
