Design Plus Gallery presents the Alp Dining Table by Ramos Bassols for Bolia + a Set of Six Osso Chairs by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Matiazzi. The Alp Dining Table, designed by the Spanish studio Ramos Bassols for the Danish furniture brand Bolia, is a minimalist centerpiece characterized by its rigorous, graphic lines and architectural contours. Crafted entirely from FSC-certified solid wood, its most distinctive design detail is a sculptural tabletop that subtly increases in thickness toward the center, forming two geometric triangles when viewed from the side. The set of chairs are equally as iconic with highly sculpted solid wood and were designed by French brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the premium Italian manufacturer Mattiazzi. The chairs are named after the Italian word for "bone." They feature an organic, almost skeletal structure where the backrest mimics the shape of a human scapula. They are built entirely from premium, sustainably sourced European ash wood, designed to look and feel highly sensual and polished. Created and constructed using a high-tech joinery system of CNC-milled geometric wood panels, resulting in immense structural strength without sacrificing its slender silhouette. The table + chairs are in good, near new condition with minimal signs of visible usage. Table is made in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the chairs being from Italy.
