Made in … Read more A charming faience blue and white Five Finger Tulip Vase or Tulipiere from the Mid 20th Century (1950s-70s). Made in Portugal and numbered on the bottom. This pretty vase features a hand-painted pattern of a deer surrounded by foliate on one side and the other side appears to be a mountain peak with foliate all on a pure white background. The designs on this piece along with the numbers on the bottom indicates inspiration by traditional 17th Century European tin glazed pottery. Tulip vases are designed for individual flower stems and traditionally used for displaying tulips. Enjoy displaying your favorite cut flowers in this decorative Tulipiere.
