This unusual censer is cast in Iron and appears to be inlaid with brass or bronze, it is hard to tell that it isn’t silver with the surface tarnishing. The center has great tripod form with taotie decoration and matching original lid. The censer is probaby 17-19th century, we really aren’t sure but wouldn’t be surprised if it were Late Ming.

Condition: Good condition with heavy patina. Some flaws in casting.
