Antique pitcher made by Joseph Holdcroft around the 1880's. The large oval pitcher has overlapping pond lily leaves with a figural pond lily bud on the top of the handle.
Though unsigned as is common for his pottery of this time, all the details are characteristic of his work and includes one of his his signature green bases.
