Late 19th Century English Burl Walnut Napoleon III Bronze Mounted Ladies Desk
Dimensions : 44" Wide X 22" Deep X 55" Tall
This gorgeous Bonheur-Du-Jour ladies desk was made in Birmingham by Marris and Norton in the 1880's and was in a upper eastside rowhouse for the last 50+ years. The ladies desk has is made in a stunning burl walnut and has nice crisp bronze mountings and is adorned with jasperware plaques! The desk is in good antique condition consistent with age and use jasperware plaque on left door has small hairline crack. This desk is exceptionally made and a true testament to the quality of the gilded age!
