Beautifully modeled in relief, the platter has a glossy hand-painted appearance with richly shaded greens, golden yellow bananas, and a wonderfully expressive monkey figure. The irregular leaf edge and dimensional fruit give the piece an especially sculptural quality, while small feet subtly elevate it from the table.
