A heavy and intricately carved crystal heart shaped covered box. I believe the maker is Schneider-France as there is a small acid etched "S" on the top or cover of this box, and the fact that I purchased it in Paris! I love that either side can be used as a cover. Both side are identical. I have pointed out a very small and very difficult to find chip on one of the sides. I had such a difficult time even finding it. Your love will love it!
