Retains original Knoll Associates label beneath the seat. The chair features a molded plywood backrest with a separate upholstered seat cushion in the original Knoll blue-green fabric. It is supported by four tapered wooden legs. Introduced in 1948, this model reflects Saarinen’s early furniture designs for Knoll, emphasizing organic form and simplified construction. From a private collection. The chair is in good vintage condition, with a few surface scratches consistent with age and use. The seat would benefit from new foam.
