This listing is for a rare antique French crystal regulator mantel clock.
This clock has an unusual case with curved glass and Art Deco style detailing. This clock is of very high quality.
The movement is an 8 day time/strike by Japy Freres.
There is a retailer mark for Bailey Banks & Biddle (Philadelphia).
The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Some signs of normal wear and age present. 1 very small corner chip is b the front glass. One larger chip to the back glass. One small piece of mounting hardware for the movement has gone missing, but the clock remains in tact and sturdy without it
The movement was last serviced in 2019. It ran and chimed when recently tested.
