Vintage MCM Puck Armchair by Yngve Ekström
A striking example of Scandinavian modern design, this vintage Puck armchair by renowned Swedish designer Yngve Ekström showcases the organic simplicity and sculptural craftsmanship that define mid-century Scandinavian furniture.
Crafted from solid beechwood, the chair features a beautifully sculpted frame with graceful, sweeping lines. Its distinctive floating upholstered backrest creates an open negative space beneath the lumbar support, giving the chair an effortlessly light and airy appearance. Sculptural armrests gently slope downward, flowing seamlessly into the front legs and creating a beautifully continuous silhouette.
With its combination of warm natural wood, thoughtful proportions, and sculptural form, this Puck armchair is both exceptionally comfortable and visually striking—a wonderful statement piece for a sophisticated mid-century, Scandinavian, or contemporary interior.
