The clock is marked Ansonia, New York, 1882 and features an ornate metal case with relief decoration, architectural detailing, and a Roman numeral dial.

The clock has been recently re-oiled and is currently running and chiming. It retains its original pendulum and includes a winding key. As with any antique mechanical clock, continued accuracy or operation cannot be guaranteed after transport.

The figures are missing their original spear and bow, and the piece shows expected age-related wear and patina throughout. Despite these losses, it presents beautifully and makes an impressive statement piece for a mantel, library, study, or antique clock collection.

For comparison, another example of this same model is currently offered elsewhere in non-working condition for approximately $3,100.
