The richly grained wood panels are carved with the flowing organic motifs characteristic of the period — sweeping curves and botanical forms that speak to the hand of a skilled artisan at the height of the style's Parisian flowering. Crowning each table, the marble tops introduce a cool luminosity that offsets the warmth of the wood, lending an air of refined contrast that is unmistakably fin-de-siècle in spirit. Ideal for flanking a settee in a drawing room, anchoring the ends of a master bedroom, or adding a note of collected elegance to a contemporary interior that welcomes the depth of antique French craftsmanship.
