Crafted in wood with an uncompromising structural clarity, the piece achieves its decorative power not through ornament but through the interplay of mass, plane, and shadow that defines the Brutalist sensibility. Its compact yet monumental presence — standing just under forty inches tall with a commanding depth — reflects the French designer's gift for instilling grandeur in restrained dimensions. Ideal for a tailored study, a modernist living room, or a collector's library where design objects are meant to provoke as much as they serve. See less
