Vintage French Louis XVI Style Marble Top Gueridon Side Table with Gilt Bronze Mounts
An elegant vintage French Louis XVI style gueridon or side table crafted in richly figured walnut and topped with a beautifully veined verde marble inset. The circular frieze is adorned with finely cast gilt bronze laurel and floral mounts framed by twisted rope molding, while richly detailed bronze ormolu mounts accent each leg.
Gracefully tapered legs terminate in bronze sabots and are joined by a shaped undertier featuring brass string inlay, lending the table a refined architectural balance. The warm walnut finish, luxurious marble top, and exquisite gilt bronze detailing exemplify the timeless elegance of French Neoclassical design.
Perfect as a lamp table, occasional table, end table, or elegant accent piece, this sophisticated gueridon complements French Louis XVI, Neoclassical, Hollywood Regency, Traditional, and Transitional interiors alike.
A beautifully crafted example of French-inspired furniture that combines exceptional materials with classic proportions and enduring style.
