Pair of late 19th century English brass whippet figures originally used as decorative accents for fireplaces or wood stoves. Cast in reclining poses with elongated forms and stylized detailing, the dogs retain a warm aged patina that highlights their sculptural character. Equally charming styled on bookshelves, mantels, or tucked into collected sporting and equestrian interiors.
