A pair of antique French Louis XVI style armchairs or fauteuils, c.1900
A good looking pair of chairs in distressed giltwood, burlap upholstery and fabric cushion seats. They have a symmetrical geometric shape, with a floral roped back, deeply carved frame and standing on decoratively carved tapering legs. The arms are supported by a unique cornucopia shaped support. Sturdy frame with joints glued and tightened. Good antique condition with age and use wear.
