Magnificent, large antique Blue Willow transferware meat platter produced by the renowned Ridgways pottery of Staffordshire, England. This impressive piece features a deep, vibrant cobalt blue transfer of the classic Chinoiserie Willow pattern on a cream earthenware body.

Rare Dual Manufacturer Marks. This particular platter is highly collectible due to its fascinating production marks, which feature both an impressed stamp and a printed back stamp:

Printed Mark (c. 1885–1890): Features the blue diamond "Semi China" mark above the Ridgways bow-and-arrow quiver insignia, explicitly reading "STOKE-ON-TRENT". This pristine mark dates the final decoration of the piece to a strict 5-year Victorian window just before the McKinley Tariff Act mandated the addition of "England".

Impressed Mark (Early/Mid-19th Century): The reverse features a clear, deep under-glaze impressed "RIDGWAY" stamp in the clay. This indicates the factory utilized an earlier, historic production mold to cast this large platter body.

Excellent antique condition, showing beautiful structural integrity with no major chips, cracks, or structural repairs. It exhibits fine, uniform glaze crazing across the entire surface, which is completely normal and expected for authentic late-Victorian earthenware of this age.
