Made in Staffordshire England 1929.

Each Approx. 1 ¼" High x 10" Diameter.

Manufactured by Allertons Ltd at the Park Works factory in Longton, Staffordshire, England.

Both plates feature an incised crown and the numbers 5 and 29 pressed directly into the underside of the pottery, precisely dating their manufacture to May 1929. This was the final year Allertons utilized this historic Crown mark before updating their branding.

Both plates feature a smooth rim profile.

Please note that there is a factory color variation between the two pieces, which is common for 1920s transferware.


One plate features an exceptionally rich, deep dark cobalt blue ink pattern, while the other features a softer, lighter blue transfer print.
Good used antique condition. Please read the condition details for each individual plate carefully before purchasing:


Plate 1 (Rich Light Blue): Structurally sound with no chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. The surface retains a strong shine with only minimal utensil wear.


Plate 2 (Rich Dark Blue): The front display side looks beautiful with a bright glaze and minimal wear. Features a clean network of fine glaze crazing (fine spiderweb lines in the clear coat) on both sides. Also please note that there is a small chip located on the underside edge of the rim. This chip is entirely on the back of the plate and is not visible when the plate is sitting flat on a table or displayed face-forward. There are no cracks extending from it.
