These iconic Mid-Century Modern lounge chairs were produced by Selig Manufacturing Co. between the 1960s and 1970s as a high-quality interpretation of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's classic 1929 design. Made in Italy.
Features an elegant, X-shaped chrome-plated steel base Naugahyde strap suspension.
Selig models are easily recognized by the rosewood bow detail accenting the connection between upper and lower parts of the legs.
Cushions appear to be original and are in a period-correct woven black and dark gray fabric. They are in good condition. One seat cushion is missing a button.
