Its broad rectangular writing surface rests above three useful drawers, each enriched with deeply carved interlaced ornament and fitted with decorative metal ring pulls.
Shaped trestle supports, bracketed details and a long connecting stretcher give the desk its distinctive profile while providing a strong and practical foundation. The carved side panels continue the design around the piece, allowing it to be placed confidently in the center of a room rather than confined against a wall. Its generous writing surface and comfortable knee clearance make it well suited for a study, library or home office.
Circa early 1900s
Measures 30.5H x 66W x 32.5D; knee clearance 24H
