This rare highly collectible mid-century writing desk is a masterpiece of postwar molded plywood design.

Conceived by Paul Goldman, it features continuous bullnose edges and a beautifully curved Walnut Veneer facade

with seamlessly integrated, hidden finger pull drawers.

.Structure: Rock solid structural integrity. All graduated drawers slide smoothly.

Condition Notes : Expected surface wear consistent with an 80 year old vintage piece.Minor finish loss,

light edge wear, and faint surface scratches are present upon close inspection.

Restoration /Repair Details: A minor historical touch-up is present on the lower corner of the table top surface.

Close up photos from both sides profiles demonstrate that this repair blends beautifully with the natural grain

and is hardly evident from normal viewing angles. It remains a highly presentable piece ready for immediate use.

This item is sold in fully restored condition. A comprehensive top tier structural and cosmetic restoration was completed

by artisan Vanoire. The highly figured, book matched veneer has been refinished accentuating the natural deep wood

grain patterns without disrupting the delicate waterfall curves. See less
