An authentic Japanese Arita porcelain charger dating to the late Edo period (circa 1820–1850). Hand-painted in rich cobalt blue underglaze, the charger features a traditional mountain landscape with a pavilion, water, and scrolling floral border. The reverse displays hand-painted decoration and multiple kiln spur marks, characteristic of antique Arita porcelain.
The elegant brushwork, soft cobalt shading, and classic export form make this an excellent display piece for collectors of Japanese blue and white porcelain.
