Stunning turned Norfolk Island Pine wood bowl, crafted by artist Jess Craig in Hawaii, featuring distinctive dark knots in the grain.
Signed Jess Craig Hawaii Norfolk Island Pine in wood at base.
Measures 8" wide x 4 1/4" tall.
Excellent condition.
Born in 1962 into a family of woodturners, Craig formerly served as the Vice President of the Big Island Woodturning Association in Hawaii. His work is celebrated for capturing the translucent, dramatic grain and striking, deep reddish-brown knots native to Norfolk Island Pine
