Designed by Fulvio Bianconi in 1948, the Fazzoletto a Canne is built from canne — individual glass rods of different colour fused vertically into the body of the vase before it is blown and spun into shape. As the glass expands and folds, the canne stretch and curve with it, creating bold vertical stripes that follow every undulation of the handkerchief form. See less
