An exceptionally sculptural pair of unmarked mid-century modern lounge chairs crafted in the style of Paul McCobb. Sinuous bent-rattan frames surround tightly woven reed seats and backs, supported by slender black-painted tubular-steel legs with copper-toned ball feet.
The broad, gently reclined silhouettes are comfortable and inviting, while the open arms and attenuated bases retain a light architectural presence. A refined pairing of organic texture and disciplined postwar line.
