Gilt bronze, mercury-polished with agate
Rests on a sea-green marble base.
The movement is housed in a case decorated with book spines in a library. A woman leans on the arm, reading on one side; on the other, an armillary sphere.
The base is supported by four feet shaped like spinning tops.
In very good condition, the clock comes with its original pendulum and winding key.
The clock is in working order and has just been serviced.
