An authentic A. H. Heisey & Company footed cabinet vase in the Lariat pattern with Orchid etching, produced in Newark, Ohio during the American Elegant Glass period. Gracefully proportioned, the vase features applied Lariat scroll handles, a delicately hand-etched Orchid floral design, and a flared crimped rim supported by a pedestal base with an applied knop. The exceptional clarity and refined finishing exemplify Heisey's reputation for quality American elegant glass.
Inspired by organic Art Nouveau forms and Venetian decorative glass traditions, the Lariat pattern remains one of Heisey's most recognizable decorative designs. The combination of applied scroll handles and the Orchid etch creates an elegant presentation well suited for collectors of American Elegant Glass or as a refined display piece.
