The squared, tight upholstery of the seat and arms is comfortable for both formal and more relaxed conversation, presently dressed in a sage-green canvas of good condition with minor wear. Mahogany frames are meticulously carved with angular details and chamfering for visual interest that complements the rich tones of the wood grain. Four thick legs support the mass, braced by stretchers with the front stretcher thoughtfully set back several inches to leave room for shoes. We believe these to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
