Jomaz was a New York based company doing business from 1949 until 1981 and specialized in quality costume jewelry designs that replicated high end fine jewelry. Jomaz creations were often colorful and chic replicating works by Cartier, David Webb and Jean Schlumberger. This sunburst pendant reminds me of Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel looks from the 1980's...really a style before its time. Both pieces came from an Atlanta estate and were paired together by the former owner though I believe the chain link necklace may be a contemporary design that was added to the Jomaz pendant. The pendant is marked at the back. The chain is not otherwise marked.

Good vintage condition with some wear to the gold plated finish at the safety catch on the necklace...please see photograph 9.

The pendant measures 2" wide x 2.5" long x .25" deep. The chain link necklace measures 25.25" long from end to end and .38" wide. See less
