Standing an impressive 10.5 inches tall, this bulbous ginger-jar-shaped vessel is a masterpiece of traditional Southern African basketry, intricately hand-coiled by tribal artisans in Botswana (Bayei or Hambukushu groups).

This collectible piece is woven using thick, tight coils of natural palm tree fibers meticulously wrapped around a structural grass core. The rich, deep brown geometric pillar design is achieved using entirely organic, traditional root and plant dyes. It features a beautifully fitted flush lid completed with an integrated woven top-knot handle.
