Wicker and rattan are woven into a textured body that suggests feathered plumage, while a warm patina and lustrous sheen highlight the organic tones. The owl’s head lifts off as a lid; glass eyes and prominent ears give the form its expressive character. A glass insert sits inside, allowing the piece to serve as a small vase or container while protecting the woven basket. Compact and decorative, it balances useful storage with sculptural appeal and suits collected, bohemian, or rustic interiors.

At 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 8 inches high, the basket is easy to place in a range of settings. The source describes it as being in very good condition: the wicker and rattan retain a rich warm patina, with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. It is structurally sound, with no visible repairs or significant damage. The removable head fits the owl motif, and the glass insert adds practical versatility. The woven texture gives the body visual depth from every angle, while its compact scale makes it suitable for display on a shelf, entry table, or vanity. This vintage container is a distinctive accent for displaying flowers or holding small objects. See less
