Aside from the exquisite cut on the bowl, the stem is notched on all sides and there is an intentional elongated bubble inside the stem. This quality of work was only done by fine glass manufacturers. This amethyst cut to clear wine glass is from the 1920's. It is in excellent preowned condition.
