A beautifully crafted mid-20th century Georgian Revival hunt table/executive desk by Myrtle Desk Co. of High Point, North Carolina. Made from mahogany, this elegant piece features a distinctive curved front, graceful tapered legs, and decorative satinwood-style inlay on the front apron.
Designed with both beauty and functionality in mind, the table includes two drop-leaf ends that expand the work surface and a fitted center drawer for convenient storage. Its versatile design allows it to function as an executive desk, writing table, library desk, sofa table, or traditional hunt table.

There are small veneer chips along the outer edges, and the front of the center drawer would benefit from refinishing to better match the rest of the desk.
This piece is an excellent candidate for restoration. Sanding and refinishing the mahogany would dramatically enhance its appearance, or it could be transformed with a high-quality painted or lacquered finish while preserving its classic Georgian design.
