Antique English Taunton Vale Ceramic Cheese Dome
A cheese dome that actually makes you want to use it, the Corndolly pattern by Taunton Vale has a quiet, countryside confidence that earns its place on any table. Taunton Vale was a celebrated English ironstone maker, and the Corndolly design reflects the rural folk traditions popular in mid-Victorian England. The rope and rattan-style surface detailing is beautifully worked, with a rope-twist handle on the dome that feels both purposeful and considered.
