An iconic 18-piece vintage Arcoroc France "Coquillage" entertaining set in glossy black pressed glass, dating to the 1960s. Inspired by the graceful form of scallop shells, the Coquillage pattern has become one of Arcoroc's most recognizable mid-century designs, prized for its sculptural silhouette and timeless French style.
The centerpiece is the original 12-inch chip-and-dip (hors d'oeuvres) platter with its matching removable shell-shaped dip bowl, accompanied by twelve 5-inch shell dishes and four 7.5-inch shell plates. Whether serving shrimp cocktail, oysters, olives, desserts, or small bites, the rich black glass provides a dramatic backdrop that elevates any table.
Equally at home in a coastal retreat, Palm Beach-inspired interior, or mid-century modern setting, this substantial entertaining set is perfect for both display and use. Complete groupings in this pattern are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
