We are pleased to present this beautiful antique Victorian Bohemian garnet brooch pendant, crafted in the elegant form of a stylized leaf and dating to the late 19th century.
The piece is richly set with natural Bohemian garnets of deep saturated “pigeon blood” color, displaying wonderful crimson flashes in the light. The garnets are arranged in a highly attractive double-layered design, giving the brooch remarkable depth and dimensionality.
This versatile jewel was created as both a brooch and a pendant, allowing it to be worn in multiple ways. The reverse retains its original silver base with pinchbeck fittings, consistent with fine Bohemian garnet jewelry of the Victorian era.
The garnets remain in very good antique condition, with no visible losses. The overall presentation is elegant, dramatic, and highly wearable.
