This is a magnificent, one-of-a-kind wooden bowl handcrafted by noted artisan Ed Corkum of Heritage Crafts, based out of Kingston, Nova Scotia.
This stunning piece is meticulously carved from a natural spruce tree burl, showcasing the exquisite, chaotic grain patterns and dense swirls unique to a burl growth.
The bowl highlights the raw, natural exterior structure of the tree, creating a rugged live-edge silhouette while the interior is smoothly turned and finished to accentuate the warm, honey-toned complexion of the spruce wood.
