The glossy glaze covers the underside of each piece, revealing a unique handwritten incised model sequence and the potter's personal signature cypher (only found on some plates) where the exposed, warm terra-cotta tone of the unglazed red clay highlights its authentic studio kiln heritage.

Condition: This artisan set is in excellent vintage condition. The glazed stoneware bodies display a rich, vibrant gloss glaze with organic, unique variations in shape, texture, and rim lines that are inherently characteristic of true handmade pottery.
