- Vintage mid-century modern amber glass lamp shade/globe, commonly characterized by its unique "bubble" or thumbprint accents around the base, vertical melon ribbing, and pumpkin-like shape
- Features a distinctive fluted or lobed body with prominent bubble-like texturing along the base
- The design is consistent with mid-century art glass styles, often referred to as pumpkin or melon ribbed
- Overall measurements 11" height x 9-1/2" wide
- Base opening is 3-7/8" designed to fit a 4" lamp base (fitter)
- Top hole is 5/8" designed to accommodate a 1/2" stem
- Please note the photos feature the shade upside down as the large opening is meant to sit on a lamp base and the top hole is meant to have a finial for the stem to hold the shade in place (see final image to illustrate)
- It originally served as the bottom section for Mid-Century Hollywood Regency style table lamps or swag pendant lights
