Add a touch of late-Victorian romance to your tabletop or hutch with this stunning 2-piece set of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG). Manufactured by the Tarentum Glass Company in 1899, this is the highly coveted "Hartford" pattern (famously known to collectors as "Heart with Thumbprint" or "Bull's Eye in Heart").
This heirloom set features an individual creamer paired with an elegant, elongated banana boat serving bowl. Both pieces are beautifully pressed with intricate heart-shaped panels showcasing a textured cane motif, geometric thumbprints, a classic starburst base, and scalloped rims. Each piece retains its original, hand-painted gold-gilded edges, offering a warm, authentic antique patina.
Dimensions:
Banana Boat Bowl: 11" L x 6.38" W x 4" H
Individual Creamer: 2.25" H x 3" W (including handle)

Gold Gilt Patina: The original hand-painted gold-flashed rims show light, age-appropriate wear and fading (gold loss). This is a natural, expected characteristic for 125-year-old gilded glass and is highly desired by collectors as proof of its authentic antique age. Glass Clarity: The clear glass is bright, free of "cloudiness" (often called "glass sickness" from dishwashers), and retains its original antique luster. Manufacturing Characteristics: As with most genuine EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) from the turn of the century, you may observe minor bubbles trapped inside the glass or faint straw marks/mold lines. These are not damage, but rather normal artifacts of the 1899 factory pressing process. less
