Bring the timeless elegance of Italian design into your home with this stunning vintage centerpiece, handmade in Murano, Italy, in the 1980s.
This large decorative plate is a magnificent example of the "Vetro Scavo" technique. This unique process gives the surface a matte, slightly textured finish, reminiscent of recently excavated Roman archaeological finds, creating a captivating contrast with the vibrant emerald green hue of the glass. The piece is finished with an elegant, contrasting dark border that outlines its organic profile. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
