An elegant set of four Louis XVI-style salon chairs by Baker Furniture, comprising two open armchairs and two side chairs. The chairs feature carved oval backs, fluted legs, and a softly distressed painted finish, reflecting Baker’s refined interpretation of eighteenth-century French design.
The seats and fronts are upholstered in rich green Scalamandré Upcountry velvet, providing a sophisticated contrast to the pale painted frames. The backs are finished in a complementary patterned textile.
Beautifully scaled for use as dining chairs, occasional seating, or as a coordinated salon grouping. Very good vintage condition with light wear to the painted finish consistent with age and use. Upholstery is clean and presents beautifully.
