Pendant is an authentic 1916 Republic of Cuba Dos Pesos gold coin securely mounted in a 14K gold bezel. The pendant features José Martí (1853-1895), Cuba's revered poet, journalist, philosopher, and national hero, surrounded by the inscription "Patria Y Libertad" and the date 1916, along with the gold fineness "900M". The reverse side bears the Cuban coat of arms encircled by the inscription "Republica De Cuba Dos Pesos". Issued by the Republic of Cuba during the early 20th century, the Dos Pesos gold coin was minted following Cuba's independence from Spain and the establishment of the republic in 1902. Pendant is approximately 17mm in diameter and weighs 4.12 grams total weight. This is pendant only, chain not included.
